QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Where do downloaded Instagram Reels go?

After opening the media link, save the video using your browser. Look in the download location selected by that browser, often the Downloads folder or the Files app on a phone. Opening the link alone may play the video without saving it.

Can I download photos from an Instagram carousel?

Paste the public post link to request its available media. A carousel can return several photo or video links; open and save each item separately. This tool handles one post at a time, not an entire profile.

Can I download Instagram Stories?

Stories usually require an account to view, so they are often unavailable. Posts and Reels from public accounts work best.

Can I download only the audio of a Reel?

Only when the source provides a separate audio file. Audio extraction from a video is not available.

Why does a public Instagram link fail?

Instagram sometimes limits automated access, or the post was removed. Try again later and check that the link opens without logging in.
