BEFORE YOU START

Good to know

Links and page code

Addresses with dots, plus signs and subdomains are found, including inside mailto links and URL-encoded text. Image names such as logo@2x.png are ignored.

Capital letters

JOHN@Example.com and john@example.com count as one address, and the first spelling found is kept. Major email providers treat them as the same mailbox.

Use with consent

Only contact people who agreed to hear from you. Finding an address does not give permission to send it marketing emails.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract email addresses from text for free?

Paste the text or open a TXT or CSV file. The addresses appear immediately; choose how to sort and separate them, then copy or download the list. The tool finds address patterns only and does not verify them.

Can I extract email addresses from a website?

Open the page, select all of its text or view its source code, then paste it here. The tool does not visit websites itself, so it only finds addresses that you can copy.

Can I extract emails from an Excel file?

Save the sheet as a CSV file from Excel or Google Sheets, then open the CSV here. Addresses are found in every column.

How do I paste the addresses into Outlook or Gmail?

Separate them with semicolons for Outlook or commas for Gmail, copy the result and paste it into the To, Cc or Bcc field.

Does the tool check that the addresses exist?

No. It finds text shaped like an email address. It does not contact mail servers or confirm that a mailbox exists.

Why is an address missing from the results?

Addresses written with words instead of symbols, such as “name at example dot com”, are not recognised because they are not valid as written.

Is the pasted text sent anywhere?

No. Pasted text and opened files are read in your browser, so the addresses stay on your device.
