Images that look right wherever you share them

Crop to the right shape, set the size, then keep the file light, in that order.

Start with the shape

Each place where you share an image frames it in its own way. Choose the shape first: 1:1 suits square grids and profile pictures, 4:5 suits portrait posts, and 16:9 suits banners and wide previews. Requirements change, so check the current guidance of the platform you publish on.

The Image Cropper places a centered frame of that shape on every image. Move the frame on each photo so the subject stays inside, then crop the whole batch at once.

Then set the size

A crop keeps the original pixels, so a crop from a large photo can still be several thousand pixels wide. Select “Use exports as inputs”, switch to Resize and enter the dimensions your destination recommends. Smaller dimensions make lighter files, and small images are never enlarged unless you allow it.

Finish with the file size

Forms, marketplaces and email systems often limit the size of attachments. Switch to Compress, enter the maximum size in KB and compare the result with the original. When quality adjustments alone cannot reach the limit, the tool tells you and lets you allow smaller dimensions.

Keep the order, and your originals

Crop, resize, then compress. Each JPEG or WebP export is a new lossy encoding, so compressing first and editing afterwards can cost detail you cannot recover. Keep your original files and export again from them when you need another version.
