BEFORE YOU START

Good to know

Full-size export

The preview is scaled down to stay fast, but the download is processed at the original resolution.

Transparent areas

PNG and WebP exports keep transparent areas. JPEG exports fill them with white.

Original untouched

Editing happens on your device. The original file is never changed or sent anywhere.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

How do I brighten a photo without resizing it?

Open the photo and adjust brightness while checking the live preview. Use contrast and saturation separately if needed, then download the edited image. The editor exports at the image dimensions; rotating by 90 degrees swaps width and height.

Does editing reduce image quality?

PNG exports are lossless. JPEG and WebP use the quality you choose, so keep it high if you plan to edit the image again.

Can I crop or resize images here?

Use the Image Cropper and the Bulk Image Resizer for that: they handle exact dimensions and whole batches.

Is the photo’s metadata kept after editing?

No. The download is a new file drawn from the pixels, so camera and location data from the original are not included.
